Charlie is a lively compromise between original shape and practical efficiency. Light effects, shadow and light reflexes create an elegant atmosphere.This suspension lamp by Marzia Mosconi is formed of four circular tiers, different in diameter and the length of rubber tubes attached to them. An unusual cascade of cylindrical elements is illuminated by a single central body in transparent acrylic. The plastic tubes are not straight and stiff, but flare out slightly towards the ends, opening up to the tier beneath creating a playful moving effect. The elegant flexibility of Charlie is sealed by the transparent glass tips, which reflect the light creating a lovely atmosphere. The flexible rubber is set off by the brushed nickel-plated metal support.
