PH Zapfen Pendant light

Poul Henningsen designed the light "Zapfen" in 1958 for the restaurant "Long lines pavilion." in Copenhagen, which is due to their shape, often called "artichoke", and gave her her name using his initials PH. The lamp was designed with the goal to combine functional and aesthetic aspects. The lamp structure consists of 12 steel arches on which 72 "sheets", in 12 circular rows with six blades are placed in each row. The light is irradiated to the next lower leaves and reflects which makes makes an anti-glare lighting and warm and luxurious.
