Product information "Notredame Wall-/Ceilinglight"
Notre Dame de Paris, one of the most famous religious buildings in the world is role model for the Notredame ceiling lamp by the Italian manufacturer Karman. The incomparable light in the church of the Cité des Lumière inspired the design developed by Luca De Bona and Dario De Meo. The lamp is inspired by the beautiful rose window and has a similar effect in the room, only on a smaller scale. The wreath of technopolymer, however, is not perfectly round but asymmetrical and the pattern breaks off on one side, as in a Gothic ruin. Thus, the construct is given a mystical flair that unites Gothic and Romanticism in the present. Karman supplies the emergency red luminaire with luminous means, ready for the future: Powerful LEDs illuminate the ornament from behind and fill the room with a unique light atmosphere.
