A room can be beautiful. Or it can feel like you.
Good light doesn't start with the fitting, but with the question of how you want to live in your rooms. Size, height, light colour, mounting: we sort that out along the way. First, we look at the room.
Light, material and layout shape, measurably, how a room feels and how you feel in it. After more than 15 years of lighting design, I read a room before I recommend any lights.
From a floor plan, photos and a few sentences about your daily life, I create a thoughtful lighting concept for your room: which layers of light it needs, which light colour at which time of day, and which light goes where. Most rooms have only a single layer of light, which is why they look flat in the evening. Base light, zone light and accent light together give a room depth. You get concrete recommendations with specific lights and positions that you can put into practice straight away.
The deeper layer of lighting design: how does your room affect you? Light, material and layout noticeably influence your nervous system, which is why some rooms let you exhale at once, while in others you can't switch off, even though everything is beautiful. I look at what your room shows me: what disturbs, what's missing, what it needs. You'll receive a written report on what works today and what would be possible.
