Dokka is a small lamp with a great history. Developed by Birger Dahl in 1954, Dokka was the first in Norway produced lamp, which received the Gold Medal from the prestigious Triennale di Milano. Known for its smooth contours, precise proportions and elegant handling of materials, Dokka had the potential to become a real design classic. Dokka became one of the best-selling Norwegian pendant lamps until they suddenly disappeared as the previous manufacturer set their headlight. In 2007 revived Northern Lighting the beautiful pendant lamp new, trying to adjust the typical features which have made it a design icon, to obtain. New matte colors and the professional processing of durable steel let the Dokka shines in a new light. The Dokka remains an icon of its time - popular today and intended to be an antique in the future.
