The Macchina della Luce Model D has been provided by Catellani & Smith with excellent LED technology that makes the luminaire highly energy-efficient and durable. In addition to the first-class design, the Italian manufacturer also attaches great importance to material quality and high-quality processing. In the Macchina della Luce, the illuminants are placed on the top of the four lower letters. They are not visible thanks to the slight curvature, but spread a gentle indirect light in the environment. Depending on the surface, a different light is produced which is reflected by the sheet. The fifth disc is the largest and most positioned at the top. It arches, unlike the remaining slices, is downwards and is generously provided with leaf foil. The unique surface thus illuminates the light - a celebration for the senses!
