A cloudless sky means good weather, but to be honest, a sky with clouds looks much more fascinating, much more alive! This also applies for the 73.3 pendant light by Bocci: 3 illuminated pendants, piled up like a cumulus cloud, inspire the imagination and add dynamics to the room. These clouds are not enlightened by the sun, but by quality LEDs; and instead of water, they are made of glass.
In the elaborated manufacturing process, the liquid glass body is blown into a vessel made of fabric. After curing, the coat is removed, leaving a lampshade of individual form with a unique structure. With the Bocci 73.3, three of the pendants are arranged beneath a round canopy, hovering like little clouds of glassy fabric in the room. This extraordinary design owes the Canadian producer to their co-founder and chief designer Omar Arbel.
